Terms and Conditions for ZulePay Credit Card Distribution

Last updated: 9 September 2026 · Version: 1.0.0 · Effective date: 9 September 2026

1. About this document

These terms ("Credit Card Distribution Terms") govern ZulePay's distribution of credit cards issued by partner banks (each an "Issuer") through the ZulePay app — presenting card offers, collecting your application and consent, and transmitting your application to the Issuer. They apply in addition to the General Terms and Conditions ("General Terms"), the Wallet Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cancellation & Refund Policy. If there is a conflict, the General Terms prevail unless these Credit Card Distribution Terms provide otherwise. Capitalised terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the General Terms.

2. The service and our role

  1. ZulePay acts as a distributor and intermediary for credit cards of partner banks. We present card information, facilitate your application and, where offered, services linked to the app. ZulePay is not the Issuer and does not issue, guarantee or underwrite any credit card.
  2. All credit cards offered through the platform are issued by the respective Issuer banks under their own licences and applicable RBI directions governing credit cards, including on outsourcing and agent arrangements.
  3. The card products, offers and partner Issuers shown in the app may change from time to time. Showing an offer is not an endorsement or a promise of approval.

3. Applications and the Issuer's decision

  1. When you apply, we collect and transmit the information and documents required by the Issuer, with your consent (Section 5).
  2. Approval, credit limits, pricing and all card terms are at the Issuer's sole discretion. The Issuer may approve, decline, or approve with different terms, and need not assign reasons for a decline beyond what the law or its policy requires. ZulePay gives no assurance that any application will be approved.
  3. The timeline from application to decision belongs to the Issuer; the status shown in the app reflects information received from the Issuer.

4. The Issuer's terms govern the card

  1. Your credit card is governed by the Issuer's own credit card terms, most important terms and conditions (MITC), fee schedule and privacy policy, which the Issuer makes available to you. Please read them before using the card.
  2. Billing, interest, minimum dues, repayment, reward points of the card, closures and card-level disputes are handled by the Issuer under its terms and applicable RBI (Master Direction on Credit Card and Debit Card – Issuance and Conduct) directions.
  3. Where card benefits integrate with ZulePay (for example, balance displays or offers in the app), they are convenience features; the Issuer's records are authoritative.

5. Data sharing and credit checks

  1. By applying, you consent to the sharing of your application information (including KYC details, documents and data you provide) with the chosen Issuer for the limited purpose of processing your application and issuing the card.
  2. You also authorise the Issuer to obtain your credit information report and credit score from credit bureaus (CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, CRIF and similar) as permitted under the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005, and to report your card performance to them.
  3. Our handling of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy; the Issuer's handling is governed by its privacy policy.

6. Fees

  1. ZulePay currently charges no fee for submitting a credit card application. If a fee is ever introduced, it will be shown before you apply.
  2. All card fees (annual fees, joining fees, interest, late payment charges and similar) are the Issuer's and are disclosed in its fee schedule and MITC.

7. Cancellation of an application

You may withdraw your application at any time before the Issuer approves it by contacting support@zulepay.com or the Issuer; we will forward your withdrawal. Once issued, the card can be closed only with the Issuer per its terms.

8. Disputes and liability

  1. Disputes about approval decisions, billing, charges, interest, closures or the card itself are between you and the Issuer; we will reasonably assist with routing your complaint to the Issuer.
  2. ZulePay is not liable for the Issuer's decisions, acts or omissions, to the fullest extent permitted by law; our liability, where it applies, is per the General Terms (Sections 24–26).
