Terms and Conditions for ZulePay Co-Branded Cards

Last updated: 9 September 2026 · Version: 1.0.0 · Effective date: 9 September 2026

1. About this document

These terms ("Co-Branded Card Terms") govern ZulePay co-branded credit card programmes — credit cards issued by partner banks ("Issuer") in partnership with ZulePay, carrying the ZulePay brand together with the Issuer's (each a "Co-Branded Card"). They apply in addition to the General Terms and Conditions ("General Terms"), the Wallet Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cancellation & Refund Policy. If there is a conflict, the General Terms prevail unless these Co-Branded Card Terms provide otherwise. Capitalised terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the General Terms.

2. The programme

  1. A Co-Branded Card is a credit card issued by the Issuer under the co-branded card arrangement registered by the Issuer with the RBI. ZulePay partners on the programme (brand, offers and app integration) but is not the Issuer and does not extend credit.
  2. The Issuer's approval of your application is at its sole discretion; approval, credit limit, pricing and card issuance are governed by the Issuer's terms.
  3. Card variants, benefits and partner Issuers may change from time to time; changes to card benefits will follow the Issuer's customer-communication and RBI requirements.

3. Using the card

  1. Use of the Co-Branded Card is governed by the Issuer's cardholder agreement, most important terms and conditions (MITC) and fee schedule made available to you at issuance — please read them.
  2. Billing cycles, interest-free periods, interest rates, minimum amount due, late payment charges and repayment are set by the Issuer under the RBI Master Direction on Credit Card and Debit Card – Issuance and Conduct. Pay at least the minimum due by the due date to avoid interest and late fees.
  3. Card controls visible in the ZulePay app (if any) are convenience features; the Issuer's systems and records are authoritative.
  4. Never share your card number, CVV, expiry or PIN. Report loss, theft or unauthorised transactions to the Issuer immediately on its helpline (also see Section 7).

4. Fees

  1. All card fees (joining, annual, interest, late payment, cash advance and similar) are the Issuer's, disclosed in its MITC and fee schedule.
  2. ZulePay charges no separate fee for the card programme; any ZulePay-level fee would be shown before it applies.

5. Rewards and app linkage

  1. Rewards earned on a Co-Branded Card are governed by the Issuer's reward programme; where they are credited to or redeemable through ZulePay, the Rewards Terms additionally apply to their wallet treatment.
  2. Statements, unbilled transactions and reward balances shown in the app are provided for convenience and may lag the Issuer's records.

6. Data sharing and credit checks

  1. By applying for a Co-Branded Card, you consent to the sharing of your application information with the Issuer for issuing and servicing the card, and authorise the Issuer to obtain your credit information from credit bureaus and report card performance to them, as permitted under the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005.
  2. Our handling of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

7. Loss, fraud and disputes

  1. Loss, theft, cloning or unauthorised use must be reported immediately to the Issuer and, where the card is accessible through the app, you may also block it in the app. Zero-liability protections follow the Issuer's policy and RBI's customer-protection directions.
  2. Chargebacks and card-level disputes are handled by the Issuer under card-network (RuPay, Visa, Mastercard and similar) rules. We will reasonably assist with routing complaints to the Issuer.
  3. ZulePay is not liable for the Issuer's decisions, acts or omissions, to the fullest extent permitted by law; our liability, where it applies, is per the General Terms (Sections 24–26).

8. Closure

Your Co-Branded Card can be closed only with the Issuer per its process (clearing all dues); closure of your ZulePay wallet or account does not by itself close the card, and outstanding dues remain payable to the Issuer.
